Gather 'round, ye bookworms, bagel enthusiasts, and caffeine-fueled conversationalists! ??? If your idea of a perfect morning involves getting lost in a good book and a perfectly toasted bagel, then Books & Bagels is basically your new favorite ritual. During this edition we’re bringing any books we want to swap and combine it with the usual Books & Bagels concept — because what’s better than discovering your next favorite novel? Exactly: to talk about it with others AND go home with some new books to read. ?️☕✨

This event is focuses on the “9R” sustainability movement. The 9 R’s stand for: Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Refurbish, Remanufacture, Repurpose, Recycle and Recover. ❇️

Let’s read, eat, swap, and wander: one bite and one book at a time. ???

♻️ GENERAL RULES: Everybody brings a minimum of 1 book with them to swap. There is no maximum. Any not-picked books or bookish items have to go home with the original owner. 

♻️ Bookish items are allowed (as long as you’re also bringing at least 1 book). Bookish items examples are: bookmarks, prints, stickers, bookfolders, book-protecters, reading accessoires, etc. 

♻️ The books need to be in good and clean condition, some damages here and there are fine. Annotations are okay, but be mindful that it might prohibit another from picking it up. The bookish items need to be in good / as good as new condition. 

♻️ Items must be CLEAN and USEABLE. NO broken or dangerous items, incomplete items (unless useable in that state), no AI generated books or bookish items.

♻️ Books of any language or genres are welcome, but English and Dutch books are preferred.
